Math Choices are sets of activities following specific themes that emphasize important math concepts and motivational strategies. Each activity is written directly to the students for ease with small group or whole group settings. I often used these Choice activities for a whole month during small group time in my classroom; students would even do the Choice activities on rainy indoor recess! The sessions include data sheets and ask students to respond to thought-provoking math questions after completion. These Math Choices are ideal for students Grades 2-5.
Crayon Choices are eight activities designed around a patterning theme. Students will explore repeating and growth patterns along with geometry, measurement, and algebraic thinking.
