Barbara Novelli’s action-packed
workshop is designed to meet the practical needs of teachers to make science
more exciting, interesting, and meaningful to students. This course for
teachers, grades 1-5, will emphasize inquiry-based, and standard-related
material that makes teaching science fun and inspires students to explore and
learn more.
Science is a natural subject to diversify instruction, to meet the
needs of your English Language Learner, your gifted students and all learning
styles. Barbara’s class will connect science to children’s literature, explore
measurement, integrate writing, and include new music to promote critical
thinking and problem solving! Barbara’s “hands-on” activities and experiments
will have students doing what scientists do.
